I don't blog as much as I should/want to. I have plenty to say, share, bitch about or try to explain. I just am entirely too lazy to actually type it out. So gonna give a quick rundown. Spring is here but it's feeling like straight summer, let's get some Spring weather please! Drake's album was leaked and o course I've heard it, not too shabby I like it. Got a lot of questions/things I wanna do the rest of this year lets see how things work out. Poetry show the 18th of this month I'm determined to spit some of my best material. That's all for now.

Use your brain not your heart

We're all adults here right? Well could've fooled me. Sometimes peoples actions really annoy me. As an adult regardless of your position in someone's life you should always be able to tell yourself: 'I'm going to be the bigger person in this situation.' Or at least be able to attempt to speak about something in a intelligent manner. Percentage of people that are actually good at this are very few. People do stupid things involving their pride, emotions (love/hate), and perceptions. Take a step back think about a situation before reacting and you'll see in the end that it isn't worth wasting energy on acting in the manner you originally wanted to due to the fact it would have been wasted energy and nothing would have been solved. Whether the actions are violent or just spiteful, at the end of the day it's a lose-lose situation. And the only person who looks like a fool is you.

Ok enough on that just needed to get that off my chest. And why the pic of chess pieces, easy in chess if you react solely on the fact that you lost a pawn it will cost you the game.

Drake - Over

2009

2009 was supposed to be a good for me. Or at least that's how I planned it out in my head. But that's not quite how it all went down. Less than 2 weeks into the year and I got Laid Off of my corporate gig @ Merrill Lynch (Fuck Bank Of America) . Moved back in w/ Mom Dukes and Lil Bro after about 5 years of being on my own, huge adjustment I'm not quite sure they yet understand. I was caking for a little bit though, severance pay plus unemployment, but all that money ended up going into the new spot me and the fam moved in. Bought couches & all.

So I was thinking, fuck it I'm just gonna get my Nerd Gang on and get into this Photography/Editing shit did a few flyers for some wack ass rappers, but money is green so hey. As far as the photography thing tho, didn't quite work out for a few reasons (working solo is key, too many hands in the pot people start having visions of what they want, when they had nothing to do with the original idea. Doesn't work that way).

All this as well as various other problems, health of family members, money issues, knee issues. Living with constant daily pain in your knee isn't all that fun, whether it's just annoying nagging pain or straight up this shit fuckin hurts pain. But not everything was bad in 09 met some cool new people became closer with some friends, less close with others, shit happens. And I'm sitting here just thinking damn it all flew by well 2010 quickly approaches. So just hoping for a productive 2010. Heres to a new year & new beginnings.
